## Concept

Unconditional Basic Income (UBI), or Renda Básica Incondicional (RBI) in Portuguese, is a form of income that assumes a group of people unconditionally has access to sufficient and recurring income to overcome extreme conditions. It is a program in which each beneficiary receives a fixed amount of money regularly to improve their life and financial autonomy.
